A process
used to recover dissolved gold from cyanide leach
solution after heap leaching. The cyanide
dissolves the gold from the ore into a solution
and the gold is adsorbed onto the carbon after separating the waste from the pregnant
solution.
The gold recovery is then
similar to that described in the carbon-in-pulp
process. The cyanide solution can be re-used
to leach more ore.
