Doré Bullion

(i) An impure alloy of gold and silver produced at a mine that will be refined to high purity metal. The median for gold doré is 65 percent gold and 35 percent silver.

(ii) In United States’ usage, doré bullion is synonymous with base bullion: crude lead with recoverable silver, with or without gold.
