Maple Leaf

The first ‘Four Nines’ legal tender bullion coin, the Maple Leaf was launched by the Royal Canadian Mint in 1979. It weighs one troy ounce, is 999.9 fine and has a C$50 face value. Smaller coins of one half, one quarter and one-tenth of an ounce are also available.
