Company Description

• Formed in 1996, when FMC disposed of its interest in FMC Gold Co. to shareholders, who subsequently voted for reincorporation in Canada.
• Two important gold producing interests: a 30% stake in Jerritt Canyon, in Nevada, operated by Independence Mining (wholly owned by AngloGold); and the new low cost El Peñón mine, in Chile.
• Beartrack mine (100%) in Idaho ceased operations in March 2000, but heap gold production continues.
• Acquired Brancote Holdings in July 2002 - principle asset is the Esquel gold project in Argentina.
