Company Description

  • Resolute was formed in 1994 and operates two mines in Africa, Obotan (90%), in Ghana, and the new, and now wholly-owned, Golden Pride, in Tanzania.
  • Early November 2000, Resolute announced that it was proposing to merge with AGR Ltd in order to develop the Boroo Gold Project, in Mongolia. The merger was however, unsuccessful and although the company has formally withdrawn its takeover offer, it remains committed to the development of the Boroo Gold Project, and is continuing to provide funding while reviewing the various options to proceed.
  • Resolute currently own around 8% of ARG Limited who in turn own 95% of the Boroo Gold Project.
