Established by Vukani-Ubuntu Community Development Projects in January 1999, and mainly sponsored by AngloGold, this is South Africa's first jewellery training and manufacturing project in a black township. The two year jewellery course is a fast track method of training disadvantaged, inexperienced people to produce jewellery in a short time.
