Crédit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) centres its physical business through its Zurich desk, although much of the trading and price-making has moved to London where CSFB is a market-making member of the LBMA and has held a seat at the gold fixing since June 2000. The bank is also active in Sydney. CSFB retains its ownership of the Valcambi refinery in Switzerland.
