buyers from major retail chains, wholesalers and independent retailers come to
IJK from all across western and southern Japan to see wares including jewellery,
pearls, gemstones and related products offered by exhibitors and designer craftsmen
from more than 19 countries. IJK is strategically held during May, a time when
most companies are replenishing their stocks for the all-important June wedding
and bonus salary season in Japan.
