A highlight of the Fair is the Jewellex Collection Awards, which is an annual jewellery design competition, sponsored by the Jewellery Council of South Africa. The primary aim of the competition is to foster and promote excellence in the design and manufacture of jewellery among our local craftsmen. The competition is open to southern Africa's professional jewellery designers, as well as apprentices and students.
